The Challenge

Microsoft needed to keep their employees informed regarding events and important dates to remember. Their current solution was to use email notifications—which bogged down the email boxes of the entire staff. These pesky emails eventually became “white noise” and were often disregarded altogether. They found this route to be dysfunctional and needed a solution that was more efficient and engaging. Oh—and they needed it completed in two weeks.

The Solution

Stepframe created an updateable responsive microsite called Life at Microsoft. The site functions as a newsletter, notifying employees of upcoming events and allowing them to register and add important dates to their personal calendars with a click of their mouse. The new design was fashioned to reflect Microsoft’s new and unique animated interface style. This project was completed on time and within budget, and receives over 10,000 visits every edition.
