A very successful, local catering company was looking to update their outdated brand to better align with and promote their amazing food and service. Before they could get back to cookin’, they needed a new logo, visual ID and brand strategy. All of which are crucial for everything from menus to uniforms and a completed overhauled website.
Stepframe went to work … immediately trying lots of their food, oh wait, we mean, “researching,” for this important project. We developed a fresh logo and tasty visual ID and brand strategy to kick the new brand off in the right direction. We presented Castle with several logo options and landed on a contemporary, simple one-color logo.
From there, Stepframe created brand guidelines with a color palette, typefaces, photography guidelines, layout examples and a written voice for the brand. We used colorful, close-up photography of the beautiful dishes that Castle creates. The color palette was pulled from the vivid colors of the food, to complement the photography. Short, playful headlines were crafted to support the imagery—and voila—a brand was born! Once the guidelines were established and approved, we applied the new brand to a website, business cards, e-collateral, outdoor signage and vehicle art.
