Starbucks was using a board game as a training tool to educate their employees about where Starbucks coffee and tea comes from. The board game was, well—a board game. Starbucks was looking for a more technologically-advanced solution that could be experienced on an individual basis rather than a group setting.
Stepframe created an interactive quiz disguised as an interactive online trivia game. Upon completion of new-hire training, employees use this game to help them better absorb the information. By completing the questions they get passports to new locations and ultimately a receive Coffee and Tea World Traveler Certification.
